On this Wednesday morning we are seeing rain for Uist and Barra this is heavy in places. Some rain for Lewis but for much of Lewis and Harris it is dry. Mainly overcast with some sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Overnight low of 11.5C

Today’s pollen forecast is Low

Today – The band of rain which is heavy and persistent in places will move across Uist and Barra into Harris and Lewis during the morning and afternoon. Once the rain clears we will see scattered showers with plenty of cloud. But increasing sunshine, Decent and prolonged sunshine for the late afternoon and evening. Feeling warm. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 45 mph for a time for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from the South East this morning, shifting South West for the afternoon and evening. Temps of 10C to 17C

Thursday and Friday – Brisk winds with showers and some longer spells of rain. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph for Uist and Barra.

Saturday – Winds easing with sunshine and cloud. Scattered showers.
