On this Wednesday evening we are seeing an overcast evening with some clear spells. Light rain and drizzle. Mist and low cloud in places. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 15.5C

The next 3 days

Thursday – Weather fronts linger across the UK on Thursday. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent spells of sunshine a times. Some lingering light rain and drizzle but for most becoming dry. Winds will be from the North East under 20 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C
Friday – High pressure for much of the UK but low pressure sits out West with weather fronts encroaching from the West. We are going to see an overcast but dry start to the day. Sunshine and cloud with mainly light winds. However we are expecting to see rain push in during the evening this will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph for Uist and Barra.
Saturday – Weather fronts sit across the UK on Saturday. A warm front over Scotland and a cold front over England and Wales. Overnight Friday into Saturday and we are going to see spells of rain moving across the Western Isles. These will be heavy at times. Into Saturday morning there will be some lingering light rain and drizzle. The cloud will dominate with increasing amounts of sunshine in the afternoon and evening. Winds will be from the East and South East around 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 to 40 mph during the early hours of Saturday. Temps of 12C to 18C
