Sunday’s forecast – Some improvements

Good evening Western isles in this Saturday evening we are still seeing some rain and showers. Drizzle in places. Cloud dominating. Winds under 20 mph. Today’s high of 16.4C

Overnight – A cloud dominating night. Mist low cloud and fog in places. Rain heavy at times. Some light rain and drizzle. Becoming more confined to Lewis and Harris. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning – Largely overcast increasing sunny spells for Uist and Barra. Mist low cloud and fog in places mainly for Lewis and Harris. Light rain and drizzle which again will be mainly across Lewis and Harris. Winds under 20 mph.

Afternoon and evening – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. The best of the sunshine will be for Uist and Barra. The rain for most will clear away but some lingering light rain is possible. Mist and fog patches are still possible but should largely clear away. Winds under 15 mph.

Winds will be from the North and North West but becoming variable for a time. Temps of 12C to 17C
