Monday’s forecast – hi high pressure

High pressure strengthens its grip during the course of Monday across the islands.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing plenty of sunshine with some stubborn cloud and mist and low cloud in places. Winds under 10 mph and today’s high so far of 17.8C

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Mist, fog and low cloud forming widely with some drizzle at times. Winds under 10 mph.

Monday – Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times but there will be plenty of cloud which will increase and out at times. Some lingering mist, low cloud and fog. It should be dry for the vast majority but some drizzle is possible at times.

Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 11C to 20C but this will very much depend on how much the cloud breaks.
