Welcome to Tuesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news and events from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Tuesday evening we are seeing a plenty of blue skies and sunshine. Some mist and fog in patches. Cloud in places. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 19C

Wednesday – High pressure dominated across the UK but a weakening cold front moves down from the North East. Its going to be another day of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. Mist and fog at times which will be slow and stubborn to clear as it forms overnight into Wednesday. Winds will be from the North and North East under 20 mph. Temps of 12C to 19C

Thursday – High pressure sits across the UK with a weakening cold front draped across the West coast. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see another fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm again. Mist and fog once again in the overnight period. Winds under 20 mph and temps of 11C to 18C

Friday – High pressure extends across the UK. For us in the Western Isles we would see another fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm again. Winds will be under 20 mph from the East and South East. Temps of 10C to 19C
