On this Sunday afternoon we are seeing rain moving across the Western isles and this is heavy in places. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and todays high of 16.5C

Monday – High pressure to the South and tighter isobars to the North West on Monday. With some lingering weather fronts. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see an overcast day with some light rain and drizzle. Mist and low cloud at times. Winds of 10 to 20 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 12C to 17C

Tuesday – High pressure dominates across the UK. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a very mild but overcast day with a few fleeting sunny spells. Mist, fog and drizzle. Winds of 10 to 25 mph from the South West. Temps of 13C to 21C

Wednesday – High pressure a little further East and low pressure system to the South West of the UK. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see another overcast day with some light rain and drizzle. Some scattered showers. mist and low cloud with some fog patches. Winds under 20 mph. Temps of 14C to 21C
