Wednesday forecast – Yeah summer has left the building

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing an overcast evening with some light rain and drizzle. Winds gusting 40 to 60 mph. Today’s high of 16.8C

Overnight – We are going to see a band of rain moving across the Western Isles which will be heavy and possibly persistent rain. Plenty of clear skies. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Morning – Further heavy rain which gradually clears away. But behind it, we will see sunshine and showers and these heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon – Further showers but fairly well scattered with some sunny spells. Plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – Showers become more frequent and heavy. Some of these could be thundery. Winds of 20 to 40 mph possibly gusting 50 mph.

Winds will be from the South West and temps of 11C to 16C
