On this Wednesday evening we are seeing rain and showers moving across the Western Isles plenty of cloud with some clear spells further heavier rain is waiting out west to move in. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and todays high of 15.3C

The next 3 days

Thursday – A showery airflow across the UK with weather fronts moving southwards. Overnight we are going to see rain and showers. These will be heavy at times possibly thundery. A slight chance of hail mixed in. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Into Thursday itself we will see a day of rain and showers which will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Some decent sunny spells in the breaks in the showers. Into the evening the cloud will dominate into the evening. Further showers. Winds will be from the West and North West. Temps of 10C to 16C
Friday – Another area of low pressure sits to the North of the UK with weather fronts sliding across. For us in the Western isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph some gusts reaching 50 mph during the early hours of Friday morning. Winds will be from the West and South West and temps of 11C to 16C
Saturday – Low pressure sits out to the far west with a slack airflow across the UK with a weather front to the East. We are going to see rain and showers which will be heavy at time. Some sunny spells. But plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph some gusts reaching 50 mph at times. Winds increasing as the day goes on. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 11C to 16C
