Sunday’s forecast – Windy then wet

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some light rain. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Today’s high of 16.6C

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud with some occasional scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph at times for Uist and Barra.

Morning – Sunshine and cloud. Mainly dry with the odd scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph widely. Risk of some gusts reaching 60 mph for Uist and Barra.

Afternoon – Heavy rain will sweep across the Western Isles which will be persistent at times. Winds of 10 to 35 mph.

Evening – A mixture of clear skies and cloud as the rain clears away. Some scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 10C to 16C but feeling cooler in the wind chill.
