On this Sunday afternoon we are seeing heavy and persistent rain moving across the Western isles. Its overcast. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Todays high of 16C

Monday – Low pressure sits to the North West of the UK and we are in a cool showery airflow as the cold front has cleared the UK. For us in the Western isles we are going to see rain and showers which will be heavy a times and becoming squally. In between some decent spells of sunshine. Winds of 20 to 40 mph increasing as the day goes on. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 9C to 15C

Tuesday – A messy synoptic setup with low pressure systems and weather fronts all in play. For us in the Western isles we are going to see rain and showers. These will be heavy at times. Feeling cool. Some sunny spells in the breaks in the showers. Winds will be from the South and South West around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 6C to 13C

Wednesday – Low pressure in the North Sea and a ridge of high pressure will build in from the West. We are expecting a mainly fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud along with lighter winds. A few scattered showers with winds increasing into the evening. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 5C to 13C
