Fridays forecast – Eat Sleep rain repeat

Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with a few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 13.9C

Overnight – Spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Some showers. Plenty of cloud with some clear spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning, Afternoon and evening – Rounds of rain and showers will move across the Western Isles. Heavy and persistent at times. Some of the showers merging into some longer spells of rain. Fleeting sunny spells. Plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph possibly reaching 60 to 65 mph for a time during the late afternoon and evening for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 7C to 13C

Stornoway – 07:29 and 19:00

South Uist – 07:32 and 19:05

Saturday – Build Ark.

Saturday – Brisk winds sunshine and scattered showers

Sunday and Monday – Further scattered showers winds ease for a time Sunday but increasing again on Monday.
