Saturday’s forecast – more rain and showers

Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing heavy rain and showers moving across the Western Isles with plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph some places. Today’s high of 11.9C

Overnight – We are going to see rain and showers. These heavy at times possibly thundery. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph in some spots.

Morning and afternoon – Further rounds of rain and showers which will be heavy and at times persistent. Some of the showers will be thundery in nature with hail mixed in. Plenty of dry spells in between with some sunshine but still a lot of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph but easing later.

Evening – Further rain and showers. Some sunny spells in the early evening with clear spells into the late evening. Winds easing 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph.

Winds will be from the South and Sout West shifting South East later. Temps of 6C to 12C
