On this Monday afternoon we are seeing scattered showers moving across the islands. Heavy in places. Plenty of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Todays high so far of 13C

Tuesday – Low pressure sits across the middle of the UK with ex hurricane Sam out in the middle of the Atlantic. For us is in the Western Isles we are going to see fine and dry conditions with sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine for many maybe even wall to wall sunshine in some spots. Some light rain cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the North and North East under 20 mph. Temps of 4C to 13C
Wednesday – Low pressure to the West and low pressure to the East with a ridge of high pressure across the UK. A fine and dry start to the day with sunshine and cloud. Cloud will increase as the day goes on. Winds will be light to start to the day but wind increasing later. Heavy rain will move in becoming persistent for a time. Winds under 20 mph gusting 40 mph later. Winds will be from the South East. Temps of 9C to 13C
Thursday – A broad area of low pressure sits in the middle of the Atlantic. Weather fronts move across the UK. For us in the Western isles we are going to see spells of rain which will be heavy and persistent at times. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph possibly gusting 50 mph in some exposed locations. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 9C to 15C
