Wednesdays forecast – Dry start rain later


Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a mainly fine and dry evening with sunshine and cloud with a few isolated showers. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 12.3C

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some mist and fog in patches. It should be mainly dry but some isolated showers are possible. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and early afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud with some scattered showers. The cloud will increase into all parts. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Late afternoon and evening – Rain will move across the entire Western Isles this will be heavy and persistent at times for Uist and Barra. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the North and South East later. Temps of 4C to 12C
