On this Wednesday evening we are seeing heavy and persistent moving across the Western Isles. Winds gusting 10 to 40 mph strongest across the Uist and Barra. Todays high of 12.3C

Thursday – Low pressure to the West and a cold front sits across the North West of the UK. Overnight we are going to see rain moving across the Western Isles which will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph into Thursday a largely overcast day with spells of rain and drizzle becoming drier as the day goes on. Some sunny spells but mainly cloudy. Winds of 20 to 40 mph but easing under 30 mph by the end of the day. Winds will be from the South West and temps of 10C to 15C
Friday – High pressure across most of the UK but a weather front lingers across the North and North West. For us in the Western Isles it will be another cloud dominating day with spells of rain and showers which will be heavy at times. Some sunny spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the South and South East. Temps of 12C to 15C
Saturday – Same as Friday weather front out to the West and high pressure to the East. Another cloudy day across the islands for most with some sunny spells. Rain and showers at times. Occasionally heavy. Feeling mild. Winds will be from the South West around 10 to 30 mph and temps of 12 to 16C
