Thursday – a cold front comes racing across the UK on Thursday. For us in the Western Isles winds will gust 20 to 40 mph with heavy rain for the night and during the morning and early afternoon. Clearing to overcast with showers and some sunny spells. Winds easing under 20 mph. Winds will be from the South West shifting to come from the North and North West later. Temps of 5C to 13C
Friday – High pressure builds across the UK and weather fronts clear. For us in the Western isles it will be an overcast day with some sunny spells. Feeling colder. A few scattered showers. Winds will be from variable direction and temps of 4C to 10C
Saturday – High pressure over Europe and Low pressure to the West with its weather fronts. For us in the Western Isles it will be an overcast day with some rain and drizzle. Rain will move in later and become heavy into the evening into the Uists and Barra. Winds will be from the South East around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 10C to 14C
