The week ahead forecast – Plenty of rain and blustery winds

Tuesday – We are going to see spells of rain and showers which will be heavy and at times persistent. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph at times. In the breaks in the rain some sunny spells. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 10C to 15C

Wednesday – A mainly fine and dry day with a few scattered showers which occasionally will be heavy. Some decent spells of sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 6C to 13

Thursday – An overcast day with spells of rain and showers. These heavy at times. Some sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud. Feeling colder. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the North and North West. Temps of 6C to 11C

Friday – A day of sunshine and showers. These heavy at times. Plenty of cloud and still on the colder side. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the North West shifting to the South West later. Temps of 5C to 11C

Next weekend – Showers and brisk winds staying on the cooler side.
