On this Wednesday morning, we are seeing rain and showers. Heavy at times, Plenty of cloud with some clear skies. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph the further South you are under 20 mph for parts of Lewis and an overnight low of 10.2C

Today – Bands of rain and showers will move across the Western Isles. Slow moving and persistent at times. Some sunshine and cloud in between. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph at times for Uist and Barra. Turning colder in the evening with showers these squally at times. Winds will be from the West and South West shifting North and North West as the day goes on. Temps of 4C to 11C

Thursday – Rain and showers heavy at times with brisk winds.

Friday – Winds and showers ease with sunshine and cloud along with sunny spells.

Saturday – Brisk winds again with further spells of rain and showers
