The week ahead forecast – Gales at times staying unsettled.

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one.

Tuesday – We are going to see rounds of rain which will be heavy and at times persistent. An overcast day with strong winds. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph into the evening. The strongest of this for the Uist and Barra. Temps of 6C to 14C

Wednesday – we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered occasionally heavy showers. Brisk winds of 20 to 40 mph from the West and South West. Temps of 10C to 14C

Thursday – Another day of sunshine and showers. These heavy at times. Some decent spells of sunshine and winds finally easing down. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Lightest into the evening. Winds from the South and South West shifting South East later. Temps of 6C to 12C

Friday – Rinse and repeat with further rain and showers heavy at times. Some decent spells of sunshine. Some heavier overnight rain. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 6C to 13C

Next weekend – Sunshine and showers again ( yes its that time of the year) along with brisk winds.
