Good evening Western Isles on this monday evening we are seeing rain and squally showers moving across the Western Isles. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 10 to 30 mph and today’s high of 11.2C

Overnight – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Scattered showers with heavier rain moving in from the South later. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Rounds of rain will sweep across the Western Isles. Becoming heavy and persistent at times. Some lighter spells of rain and drizzle. Staying overcast. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. At times reaching 60 mph for the Uist and Barra.

Evening – Further heavy and at times intense but gradually clearing away as the evening progresses. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph again strongest for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 6C to 14C
