Welcome to Tuesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news and events from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Tuesday evening, we are seeing the heaviest of the rain finally clearing way from the Western Isles. Plenty of cloud. Some lingering rain. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph today’s high of 14C

Wednesday – Low pressure dominates with weather fronts moving across the UK. For us in the Western Isles, we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud with brisk winds. Some scattered occasionally heavy showers. Plenty of clear skies after sunset. Still a lot of cloud during the day. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South West. Temps of 9C to 14C

Thursday – Low pressure sits to the North West and weather fronts sit across the UK. We in the Western Isles are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. Some merging into longer spells of rain but mainly becoming drier in the evening. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 7C to 12C

Friday – Low pressure moves close to the Western Isles. Weather fronts linger across the UK. For us in the Western Isles, we are going to see mainly fine and dry conditions with sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the South and South East. Temps of 7C to 12C
