Thursday’s forecast – More grey

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing rain and showers moving across the islands. Winds under 20 mph and temps have dropped in places under 5C today’s high of 7.9C

Overnight a mixture of clear skies and cloud with a chance of frost and ice in places. Further showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning – Fairly dry overcast with some sunny spells. Scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Afternoon and evening – rain and drizzle will move across the islands. Plenty of cloud. Some showers into the evening. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 3C to 10C

Saturday – Plenty of uncertainty as to how strong the winds will get but gusting 40 to 50 mph possibly at times reaching 60 mph maybe 70 mph later in the day with heavy rain hopefully firm up the details in the coming days.
