Good evening Western isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing rain and sharp showers moving across the Western Isles. Plenty of cloud with some clear spells. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph.
Overnight – Clear skies and cloud with a few scattered showers. Heavy in places. Turning colder with a chance of some frost and ice in spots. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Morning and afternoon – Largely overcast with some sunny spells. Some rain and drizzle at times but for most staying dry. Winds under 20 mph.
Evening – Rain will sweep across the Western isles becoming heavy. Winds increasing gusting 20 to 30 mph for Lewis and Harris gusting 40 to 50 mph for Uist and Barra.
Winds will be from the South West shifting South East later. Temps of 4C to 11C
