On this Wednesday morning, we are seeing rain and squally showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these are wintry in places. Winds gusting 40 mph and an overnight low of 4.4C

Today – Rain and squally showers. Heavy at times. Some sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud. Some of the squally showers will occasionally be wintry. A slight chance of the odd thundery shower. Winds of 20 to 40 mph the odd gust reaching 50 mph could be possible. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 5c to 11C but feeling colder in the wind chill.

Thursday – Strong winds and further rain gusting 50 mph.

Friday – Winds slowly easing. Showers.

Saturday – Brisk winds sunshine and showers.
