Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing rain and drizzle moving across the entire islands. Plenty of cloud. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Today’s high of 12.7C

Overnight – We are going to see further spells of rain heavy at times, Some clear skies. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – The heaviest of the rain clears away and behind it, we are going to see sunshine and squally showers. Heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph strongest for Uist and Barra.

Evening – Clear skies and cloud. Further squally showers again. Winds of 20 to 40 mph strongest for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 4C to 10C becoming colder into the evening.
