Today – squally showers these wintry at times some sunny spells. Plenty of cloud. By late afternoon some longer spells of rain will move across the islands and be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph into the evening. Winds will be from the West and North. Temps of 3C to 10C
Friday – Rain and showers heavy and wintry at times winds gusting 50 to 60 mph widely in some spots reaching 70 to 75 mph.
Saturday – Bitterly cold with wintry showers winds gusting gale force from the North.
Sunday – Cold winds ease risk of frost and ice.
