On this Saturday morning, we are seeing frequent sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles. Plenty of cloud with some clear spells. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph and an overnight low of 1.2C

Today – Rain, sleet and snow showers with ice in places. These heavy at times. In between some sunny spells. Turning to rain later in the day. Winds also easing. The snow and hail showers will result in some temporary accumulations and lasting longer over more high ground. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph this evening from the North and North West. Temps of 1C to 5C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
Sunday – Cold scattered showers.
Monday and Tuesday – Brisk winds and showers.
