Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing a band of sleet and snow moving across the islands. Heavy in places. Winds under 20 mph. Temps at or close to freezing for most. Today’s high of 3.6C

Overnight – Further rain and wintry showers. Sleet and snow in places. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Overnight low close to or below freezing down to -2C in places. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning – Sunshine and cloud. With scattered showers. Wintry in places. Winds 10 to 30 mph.

Afternoon and evening – Mostly fine and dry with sunshine and cloud. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the North West but becoming variable later. Temps of 1C to 7C
