Hello and welcome to my first blog post on Storm Barra which was named by the Irish Met Office earlier today. Impacts for us in the Western Isles will be minimal. But as ever I do blog posts on all named storms that impact the UK. We are going to see heavy rain in the Western Isles and winds gusting 50 mph.
