Today – A mostly overcast day today with occasional sunny spells. Rain will spread across the entire Western Isles as the day goes on. Becoming heavy and at times persistent in places. Some rain will fall as sleet and snow especially over higher ground. Rain clearing for most by the end of the day. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph to possibly 60 mph in some exposed costal locations. Winds will be from the East and South East. Temps of 1C to 8C
Wednesday and Thursday – Sunshine and showers. Heavy at times.
Friday – Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph with showers.
