Saturday’s forecast – Warm front

Good evening I have a very intermittent internet connection this evening so just a slightly shorter forecast. Thanks for your understanding.

A reminder a Met Office yellow weather warning for wind comes into force at 21:00 Sunday evening and expires at 06:00 Monday morning. The full warning and latest updates can be found via the Met Office website or app.

Saturday – A cold icy start with plenty of cloud. Rain moves in as the day goes on. Becoming milder. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Some spots reaching 50 mph. Temps heading towards double figures by the end of the day. Temps of 2C to 9C

Sunday – Brisk winds and showers winds gusting 40 mph but stronger into the evening gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Monday – Severe gales during the early hours of the morning gusting 60 to 80 mph in some exposed spots could see 90 mph. Winds easing and showers later

Tuesday – Another windy day with winds gusting 50 to 60 mph with heavy and persistent rain staying mild.
