Today – Rain will spread across the entire Western Isles as the day goes on becoming heavy and persistent at times. Winds will gust 40 to 50 mph strongest for Uist and Barra where will see gusts reaching 60 mph. Plenty of cloud. A few sunny spells. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 5C to 10C
Thursday – Brisk winds and showers
Hogmanay – Mainly fine and dry with light winds. Breezy
New years Day – Further spells of rain heavy at times with winds reaching gale force.
