Today – A few lingering rain and showers. Clearing away by early afternoon. Sunshine and cloud with some occasional drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph staying mild. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 6C to 12C

Hogmanay – Mainly fine and dry with light winds. Breezy

New years Day – Further spells of rain heavy at times with winds reaching gale force. Winds gusting 40 to 60 mph

Sunday – Brisk winds and showers.
