On this Friday morning, we are seeing rain and drizzle across parts of the Western Isles with mist low cloud and fog. Winds under 20 mph and an overnight low of 6C

Today – Lingering mist and fog will eventually clear. Plenty of cloud with some sunny spells. Rain and drizzle at times with some occasional heavier spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from variable directions. Temps of 5C to 11C

New years Day – Further spells of rain heavy at times with winds reaching gale force. Winds gusting 40 to 60 mph possible 70 mph for a time.

Sunday – Brisk winds and showers. Some sunny spells plenty of cloud.

Monday – Rain and showers with brisk winds.
