On this Saturday morning, we are seeing squally showers moving across the Western isles. There were a few lightning strikes overnight for South Uist, Eriskay and Benbecula. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph and an overnight low of 7.4C
Today – A day of squally showers these heavy at times. A few will be wintry in nature and possibly thundery at times. Plenty of cloud but in between some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. Easing down under 30 mph for most by this evening. Winds will be from West and South West. Temps of 6C to 10C
Monday – Rain, sleet and snow showers feeling colder with brisk winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.
Tuesday – Squally showers and sleet and snow showers at times. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.
Wednesday – A cold day with sunshine and cloud. Winds lighter. Showers at times. Winds under 20 mph.
