Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a largely fine and dry end to the day. Clear skies and cloud. Some frost and ice. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 7.6C

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud. Rain will move across the islands and it will become heavy and persistent at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph

Morning – Further rain. Again this rain will be heavy and at times persistent. Cloud dominating. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Somer gusts reaching 50 mph.

Afternoon and evening – Some lingering light rain and drizzle. Showers but becoming drier. Mainly overcast with some sunny spells. Winds easing 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 4C to 11C

Outlook

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – Brisk winds gusting 20 to 45 mph as high pressure dominates. Cloud dominating with drizzler at times. Winds will be from the North West.

Friday – Winds easing with sunshine and cloud. Winds under 20 mph from variable directions. Temps of 7C to 11C

Next weekend – Brisk winds sunshine and cloud.
