Good evening Western isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a few scattered showers. Clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 9C

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud. Some scattered showers. Winds will increase gusting 40 to 50 mph

Morning – Rain and drizzle will move across the islands heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Afternoon and evening – A band of heavy rain will sweep across the islands. Then turning showers behind it with clear skies and cloud into the evening. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly 70 mph in some more exposed coastal spots.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 8C to 11C

Thursday – Sunshine and showers from the North West around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 5C to 9C

Saturday – Sunshine and showers with winds gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly 70 mph from the North West. Temps of 5C to 11C

Sunday – Dry start rain later with winds increasing gusting 50 to 60 mph at times reaching 70 mph.
