Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing rain and showers across large parts of the Western Isles with plenty of cloud. Winds gusting 50 mph and today’s high of 10.8C

Overnight and Morning – Spells of rain and showers heavy and at times wintry in nature. Mainly overcast with some mist and low cloud. Winds of 30 to 50 mph gusting 60 to 75 mph. In some exposed spots, 80 mph can’t be ruled out.
Afternoon – Sunshine and cloud. Scattered showers heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.
Evening – Clear skies and cloud. Scattered showers but becoming drier. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.
Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 2C to 9C

Monday and Tuesday – Brisk winds gusting 40 to 50 mph from the North West. Squally showers. Temps of 3C to 8C
Wednesday – Winds easing with rain and showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 2C to 8C
