On this Saturday morning, we are seeing the peak of the storm moving across the islands with rain and squally showers. Winds gusting 60 to 80 mph widely and an overnight low of 7.9C

Today – We are going to drop out of the peak for strong winds this morning. Still gusting 50 to 60 mph by late morning. Easing further as the day goes on. Under 20 mph to end the day. Sunshine and showers these heavy and squally at times possibly wintry at times. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 2C to 10C
Sunday – Further spells of rain and showers persistent at times with another round of strong winds that could reach 70 mph for a time. Strongest of the winds for Uist and Barra.
Monday and Tuesday – Staying windy with squally showers wintry at times gusting 40 to 50 mph.
