Good morning Western Isles this is your morning briefing,

On this Saturday morning, we are seeing rain and showers moving across the Western Isles this is heavy in places. Plenty of cloud. Winds gusting 40 mph and an overnight low of 6.9C

Today – Rain and showers these heavy at times. Becoming squally later in the day. Some sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud. Some of the showers will be wintry. Winds will be from the South West around 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 6C to 9C but feeling colder in the wind chill.

Sunday and Monday – Sunshine and showers these will be wintry at times. Winds will be from the North West around 10 to 30 mph. Feeling cooler.

Tuesday – Heavy overnight rain. Then brisk winds and showers turning milder again.
