Tiree Weather forecast for the 15th February 2022

Good evening Tiree on this Monday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 7.6C

The Met Office today issued an Amber warning for Strong winds for Tiree on from 18:00 Wednesday evening until 09:00 Wednesday morning with a yellow weather warning for strong winds coming into force at 15:00 Wednesday afternoon and expiring at 18:00 Thursday evening the full warning and latest updates can be found via the Met Office website or app.

Tuesday – Overnight heavy rain will sweep across the island with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Into Tuesday morning sunshine and showers some decent spells in the breaks but the showers will be squally. These will decrease and become more scattered into the afternoon but further heavy and more organised rain is expected to move in during the evening. Winds gusting 40 mph under 20 mph by the end of the day. Temps of 5C to 7C

Wednesday – Heavy morning rain and winds will increase later gusting 60 to 70 mph possibly 80 mph by the end of the day. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 3C to 10C

Thursday – Strong winds for the morning gusting 70 to 80 mph will ease down by the middle of the day. Further rain and showers. Temps of 5C to 7C

Friday – Lots of uncertainty as yet but rain sleet and possibly snow showers for a time. Winds gusting 50 to 60 mph from variable directions. Temps of 2C to 7C
