Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing rain moving across the Uists and Barra. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 7.1C with temps this evening close to freezing.
A reminder the Met Office yellow weather warnings for Storm Dudley for the Western Isles have been cancelled. So there are currently no warnings in place for the Western isles. The strongest winds are expected well to our South.
Overnight – We are going to see rounds of rain move across the Western Isles this will be heavy at times. Clear skies and cloud with some frost and ice early evening. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Morning – Overcast with rain and drizzle. This heavy at times. Some sunny spells but the cloud dominating. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Afternoon and evening – Staying mostly overcast some heavy and at times persistent rain will sweep into Uist and Barra and then into Lewis and Harris into the evening. In between showers heavy at times. Some sunny spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph for Uist and Barra
