On this Wednesday morning, we are seeing a largely fine and dry morning. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some rain and drizzle. Winds under 20 mph and an overnight low of 3.8C

Today – A fairly overcast day for most with some sunny spells. Rain and drizzle. This will be heaviest across Uist and Barra. in the morning but will spread into most parts as the day progresses. Some places will stay dry. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph into the evening for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 2C to 7C

Thursday – A day of sunshine and showers these will be heavy at times. Some of these will be wintry falling as sleet and snow for a time. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph for Uist and Barra.

Friday – Rain sleet and snow showers moving across the island. Risk of frost and ice. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph.

Saturday – Sleet and snow showers moving across the island. Some rain at times with sunny spells. Winds under 30 mph with risk of frost and ice.
