Tuesday – A band of heavy and intense rain will move across the island overnight. Mixed with rain sleet and hail. A chance of it being thundery at times. Into the day and it will be squally wintry showers with rain, sleet and snow possibly thundery at times. Some sunny spells in between. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph strongest during the overnight period. Temps of 3C to 8C
Wednesday – Another stormy day with further rounds of rain and wintry showers. Winds gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly gusting 70 mph for a time. Turning increasingly to snow into the evening. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 1C to 7C
Thursday – Further rain sleet and snow showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. Some sunny spells. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of -1C to 6C
Friday – After a dry start winds are expected to ease. Before increasing again into the evening. Rain will move in later heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph from the West and North West. Temps of 2C to 7C
