Saturday forecast – Another windy day

Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing rain and drizzle across large parts of the Western isles. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph and today’s high of 8.9C

Overnight – A cloud dominating night with some rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Morning and afternoon – The bulk of the heavy is expected to stay out West for most of the day. But some places will see some rain and drizzle. Some sunshine at times but the cloud dominates. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Evening – A mostly overcast evening with some clear spells. Some early evening sunny spells. Rain moving into the West. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 65 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 7C to 10C but feeling colder in the wind chill.

Monday and Tuesday – Brisk winds and sunny spells. Scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 3C to 9C

Wednesday – A dry day ( I know let’s not frighten it.) Sunshine and cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South andSouth West. Temps of 2C to 7C
