Overnight – Rain and showers will move across the island. This will be heavy at times. Winds gusting 50 to 60 mph widely but will start to drop by the end of the night under 20 mph.
Morning – Sunshine and cloud with scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph.
Afternoon – Cloud feeds back in and winds increase with further spells of rain. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
Evening – Further heavy rain will sweep back across the island. The cloud dominates. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly 70 mph for Uist and Barra.
Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 3C to 9C
