Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing squally showers moving across the Western Isles. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph and today’s high of 8.5C

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud with a few scattered showers. A risk of frost and ice in places. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Evening – Clear skies and cloud. Risk of frost and ice. Early evening sunshine. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 2C to 10C

Wednesday – Fine dry start with sunshine and cloud. Cloud builds in later with some rain pushes in. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from South East. Temps of 2C to 8C

Thursday – Spells of rain heavy at times. Winds founder 20 mph but gusting 40 mph in the early hours. Winds will be from variable directions. Temps of 5C to 9C

Friday – Heavy overnight rain which clears to a fine and dry end to the day. Winds of 20. to 40 mph but easing as the day goes on. Winds from the North East. Temps of 4C to 9C

Saturday – A fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Light winds. Winds from the North East around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 3C to 9C
