Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with a few scattered showers. Some frost and ice with winds under 20 mph and todays high of 8.7C

Overnight – Rain and showers move across the Western Isles these will be heavy at times. Some clear skies and plenty of cloud. Some frost and ice in places. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud, Scattered showers. But for most it will be dry. Winds under 20 mph.

Evening – Clear skies and cloud. Some early evening sunshine. Mostly dry. Risk of frost and ice again. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 1C to 9C

Sunday and Monday – Brisk winds sunshine and cloud. Mainly dry from the South and South West gusting 40 mph. Temps of 2C to 9C

Tuesday – Dry and sunny to start with rain later. Winds gusting 40 to 60 mph strongest for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 4C to 9C
