Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and cloud. Prolonged sunshine at times. But cloud increasing. Mainly dry. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph increasing during the afternoon.

Evening – Mostly overcast. Some clear skies. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 2C to 9C

Monday – Mostly fine and dry with sunshine and cloud. Winds gusting 40 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 6C to 9C

Tuesday – Dry start but rain moves in later. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly 70 mph for Uist and Barra. From the South and South East. Temps of 2C to 9C

Wednesday – Spells of heavy rain. Overcast with winds gusting 50 to 60 mph again 70 mph is possible for Uist and Barra from the South and South East. Temps of 4C to 9C

Thursday – Winds easing for a time before increasing later gusting 40 to 50 mph from the South East. Temps of 2C to 10C
