Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a mostly fine and dry evening with a few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph and today’s high of 10.1C

Overnight – Rain will move across the islands heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph at times.

Morning – Further spells of rain and heavy rain and strong winds gusting 40 to 50 mph possibly reaching 60 mph for a time.

afternoon and evening – Further spells of heavy rain at times. Some sunny spells. Winds starting to ease. Winds of 20 to 40 mph under 20 mph to end the day.

Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 2C to 9C
